Jun 15, 2015 - This is art from my personal animation art collection. This art was used in the production process of short films and series made by a number of different Studios including Fox, Walter Lantz, Ub Iwerks, Terrytoons and others.

Specialized studios support all major conventional, digital, and experimental processes in art and design. The Department of Art offers a minor sequence* in Studio Art for students who are majoring in other departments. The objective of this program is to allow UB students from diverse academic programs to engage in the study and making of art. The students will get an overview of critical and aesthetic issues in art today and gain a technical skill set in the medium of their choice. The study of 2021-04-12 · Students accepted to UB must have a minimum GPA of 2.500 to be eligible to apply and be accepted by the art degree programs in the Department of Art. When a student transfers from another institution, their coursework must be equivalent to UB art courses. The UB Arts Collaboratory will welcome visiting artist Cecily Brown, one of the foremost painters of her generation, for its Spring 2021 Working Artists Lab. Brown’s program, presented in partnership with Artist/City , Bortolami, NYC, is a collaboration with a diverse team of local artists and storytellers that will represent the first public art project of her distinguished career. Sara Zak is a candidate in the Studio Arts MFA program at the University of Buffalo. She holds BFA in Fine Arts, BA in Art History, and MA in Multidisciplinary Studies from Buffalo State College. Zak has paintings in the Burchfield Penney Art Center and Roswell Park Cancer Center collections.
